Walking down Friedrichstrasse in Berlin and I come upon this fabulous silver haired man in such great color in honor of the beginning of Springtime in Germany (no humming similarly titled songs from “The Producers”). The sunshine was so bright you can only catch the pattern of his pants in the store window’s reflections. Ever so dapper!

“Bill Cunningham New York”: Ever since I was teenager I have been enamoured with Bill Cunningham, New York Time Photographer and fashion chronicler icon! Obviously I will be putting the documentary about his life on my list.
“The September Issue”: This true depiction (its a documentary) of what it is like to put out the fashion magazine industries most important annual issue. Not to be missed by anyone slightly curious about working at a fashion mag.
“Lagerfeld Confidential”: Lagerfeld is special, genius, a man above others in ideas that lead to fantasical clothes and fashion spectacles that are just jaw-droppingly beautiful. One of my favorite aspects is that Lagerfeld even does his own German voice over, the film is in French. Such perfection!
Fashion in Films:
“I am Love”: a beautifully shot film. My NY friend described it as “fashion and real estate porn.” A dark love story, but well worth it for all the fabulous clothes and shots of Milan that one normally doesn’t get to see.
“A Single Man”: Directed by Tom Ford, enough said!
