The FASHION COMMAND POST is presented by Devon Kaylor.
The site are my musings on the fashion and beauty with a sprinkling of art and travel. I try to get first hand knowledge by going to various Fashion Week Events and interviewing those in the know. My previous experience in fashion stems from having worked as a runway model in NY and Milan, as a make-up artist doing the seasonal shows in NY with beauty icon Bobbi Brown (she trained me), and a lovely stint at Harper’s Bazaar in New York working with the fabulous Mary Alice Stevenson, while under the editorial magic of Liz Tilberis (I was in fashion heaven, working in the magazine’s closet!)
Years later, I opened my own vintage designer clothing store, called the FASHION COMMAND POST. In a converted vintage, bright yellow 1973 GMC motorhome I drove through San Francisco curating unique fashion stylings for red carpet events and seasonally editing individuals wardrobes. Now in Berlin, discovering the newest trends on the streets of this ever-evolving city and places elsewhere. Fashion is to be shared and I hope you enjoy what I have to share at my current fashion location: Berlin.
I’d love to hear from you and please, if you like it, follow the blog and on Instagram @FashionCmdPost…
Your life sounds awesome. And(!!), you had a vespa! Groovy. Berlin is the best city around and the photos that await you are endless. Have fun!
Thank you! I still have the vespa, she just is waiting for me in a garage in San Francisco for me to return state-side in a little over a year or so.
