All through the horrible snowy weather in Milan, Emmanuelle Alt was dressed beyond chic, but completely weather appropriate. Monochromatic in her typical black, her wool peacoat and Men’s style wide brim hat more than protected her from the elements, but not for a moment does one miss the simple elegance of her outfit choices.
This season, headbands of many sorts graced the coiffures of the fashionable at Europe’s week. Whether flowers, lace, cat-earred, or bright red berries. These fanciful 3D bursts of color and fabric, made crowning glories to already beautiful outfits.
Bold graphics on the runways and the streets of the world’s fashion capitals were fun additions to my street style photo search this past season. Among the classic and ever fashionable looks came pops of bright color and words off the fabric worn as cool t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants and accessories. Not to be solely worn as a part of a casual costume these pieces blended into the most distinguished outfit. The playfulness of the fonts, ignited memories of childhood TV shows and comic book adventures, like Pop Art bursting from the walls of a museum visit, make these a continued welcome sight on the daily fashion photo hunt.
